Sometimes when I come out,
I feel like a freak.
Having just been caged
for over a week.

How wonderful it is
just to see the sky,
just the other day
I wanted to die.

To be as free as a bird
high in the skies,
but the only thing flying now
are tears from my eyes.

Until I am fully rehabilitated
I will always end up back in,
back to the pen
in cell block number ten.
